Diddy Trial Day 13: Mia's safety, Cassie's settlement, and what happens next
Today we unpack Diddy's 13th day on trial. Taking a look at Mia, reading in between the lines when it comes to her level of safety, and questioning what to expect going into week 3 of the trial.
If you’re caught up from Day 12
Then you’ve already heard of Mia. She’s Diddy’s former assistant, and gave us the vivid image of Diddy throwing a spaghetti bowl at her face. This is also her second day of testimony, and she had a little more to say.
What happened?
She said Diddy’s bodyguard D-Roc reached out to her on Diddy’s behalf and let her know that Diddy missed her in true toxic male fashion.
She tripped out, basically because she had a feeling Diddy didn’t actually wanna reconnect but that he just didn’t want her to say anything during his trial. And she was right. After ignoring Diddy’s request, Diddy reached out on a few other occasions as rumors of Diddy’s settlement with Cassie continued on.
My theory about Cassie’s settlement
I think the Diddy Cassie settlement was a pivotal moment. I think when Diddy settled with Cassie two years ago it was because he didn’t think anyone else would ever testify against him. I think he felt like he held all of the cards. And Cassie would ruin his perceived reputation if he didn’t settle right away. I mean the settlement didn’t take long at all.
Now think about this. Would you settle with someone quickly to prevent potential lawsuits forming against you if you felt like you were completely innocent? Obviously not.
My theory about Mia
I also think it’s worth mentioning that Mia is literally using a pseudonym to protect her identity while testifying. I think this speaks volumes because it shows how concerned Mia genuinely still is for her safety.
Is Diddy the only person she’s worried about? Or are there other people involved that we haven’t heard about yet. I think that there’s a lot more about this case that we don’t know about. And I’m starting to have doubts that we’ll never hear everything. Which sucks.

What other celebrities will testify in the Diddy case?
The reality of this case is that we’re still in the beginning. Everyday isn’t going to be an eye-opening revelation. So we’re gonna have to stay patient.
