Diddy Trial Day 17: Miami girl trip, sobriety parties, and a freak ass cocktail

What’s going on y’all. We’re officially in Day 17 of this Diddy trial so let’s jump right in because this shit is just a lot and I lowkey hate building anticipation.

I thought today was gonna be another regular day of witness testimony

Whatever that means. But Jane had other plans. First off, Diddy had the judge heated after trying to make eye contact and nod at the jury like he was still in I’ll Be Missing You. Basically the judge was like “Do it again and you’re out.” Type shit. Which I obviously respect. Because why are you now trying to interact with the jury who already has the difficult ass job of figuring out if you’re as crazy as these allegations say you are. What?

But Diddy grilling the jury aside, today we’re breaking down:

• Jane’s “freak-off” testimony

• Diddy’s alleged control over Jane’s life

• How this matches up with Cassie’s story

• My thoughts on where this is all going’

Who is Jane?

Let’s start here: Jane (not her real name) took the stand and painted a disturbing picture. According to her, what started as a whirlwind romance in 2020 quickly turned into drug-fueled sex marathons with multiple men… all at Diddy’s request. She says the first time was in a Miami hotel after he gave her ecstasy and showed her explicit videos. She thought it was hypothetical (poor thing) but nope, Diddy had a room booked and a man lined up.

And from there, it became routine. She said she was expected to be “on-call” for these hotel nights that would sometimes last 30 hours, featuring up to 24 bottles of baby oil, and that she felt obligated because he paid her bills and rent. Wtf. Well this fuckin escalated quickly. Now if you’re like me, you’re probably like how the fuck did it go from romantic dinners to 30 hour freak offs? It’s concerning to say the least. But is this the first time we’ve heard this about Diddy? I’ll let you answer that.

Diddy’s control over Jane’s life

Moving on, Jane didn’t just testify about the freak-offs. Jane got into the day-to-day control. She alleged Diddy controlled her finances, schedule, the way she dressed. How? Through high level grooming. Can’t you see between the lines?

According to her, Diddy discouraged her from making her own money. Why? Because he was gonna take care of her. Her OnlyFans hustle? Nah. Hold off on that, he probably said (I’m imagining). “You with me now.” Jane did not hold back on this day of trial. She said prepping for their meetups was a full-time job. Sound familiar? That’s because Cassie said the same exact thing during Week 1.

And on top of that, she had to arrange childcare. You know, just in case he wanted to see her. her life became one giant audition for his approval.

I realized Jane’s story sounded hella familiar

And if you’re getting déjà vu too, you can do the trigonometry with me. Jane’s story sounds a lot like Cassie’s in some ways. Clock that fuckin tea. Both say their relationships started off romantic and exclusive.

But both spiraled into drug-fueled chaos (I’m talking about all the drugs). Both were allegedly coerced into freakoffs with strangers. And based on testimony and doing the math (the trigonometry) it’s clear to see that both seemed to have lost a sense of independence. Cassie said it felt like a job. Jane said it was a job. Unlike Cassie who said she did it because she loved Diddy and knew it would make him happy, Jane said she didn’t sign up for it. Either way, if any of these testimonies are true, both ladies fell victim to Diddy. But just how bad did it get for Jane?

Let’s set the scene

According to Jane, it started off like a typical night. Just her and Diddy, some ecstasy, a few hours of “intimacy,” and a casual convo about fantasies. Now it’s important to mention that up until this point, Jane admitted to being head over heels for Diddy. That’s right. This wasn’t a random ass fling either. They were already “talking” giving each other pet names like Shnookums and Eernie from Sesame Street (her words).

Real cozy. Apparently she met Diddy on a girl’s trip in Miami. He was dating Jane’s friend at the time, but when he paid for the whole trip, took Jane on his yacht, and invited her back to his mansion, suddenly she found him “charming.”Ok City Girl.

Despite knowing Diddy was already talking to Jane’s homegirl who she considered her close friend at the time. Messy fuckin boots. So much mud. But whatever. Diddy pulled his classic Hollyweird sus move:

Next thing she knows, a male escort is being flown in, a hotel room is prepped, and Jane is officially in her first “freak-off” or as Diddy liked to call them “sobriety parties.” Now maybe I’m not in the loop, but last I checked, bringing drugs to any party doesn’t make it a sobriety anything. But that didn’t stop Jane, who at one point took drugs just to get through with these parties.

She said at first she thought it was a one-time thing, but nope — every single time she saw Diddy after that, it was sobriety party time. After all he paid her rent, her bills, handed her stacks of cash. Big ones (no pun intended). She says she felt like she had to “perform,” basically like a production.

In court, "Jane" said she felt "obligated" to participate in Combs' "hotel nights" because she felt like he would take her house away from her, which he was paying for.

Jane said: 

When asked how she stayed awake, she answered by taking ecstasy, caffeine, water and protein shakes. That is a freak ass cocktail. But it was the only way she could go through with it.

My thoughts

The fact that two different women who as far as we know didn’t even know each other, are echoing the same trauma about a man? Down to the amount of baby oil he uses? That’s not a coincidence. It’s a pattern. The defense is working really hard to try to fight this potential RICO charge against Diddy. But what they can’t defend is all of the sexual assault allegations. Everyday people wonder if Diddy is actually gonna get prosecuted. But in my opinion, it’s pick your poison. Sexual assault or RICO. Or both.
