The Hailee and DDG rumors just got way worse

I’m interrupting our immersive Diddy trial rabbit hole programming to drop some serious drama. This one is between DDG and Halle. Thats’s right, call em to the stand! And quick shoutout to my tea steeper for sending me this. Now before I start I just wanna say that the allegations in this story are all alleged.

I also wanna be clear that struggling with your mental health is a serious thing. So I don’t wanna skate over any of this just because there’s drama between these two celebs.

Now that that’s out the way

Let’s take a step back

If you need a refresher, Halle has been in Hollywood for a little while now. She signed to Beyonce’s label as a singer-songwriter and actress in 2015. I learned about her by watching “Grown-ish” where she was a track star on scholarship. Solid storyline. I really believed in her.

Anyways, Halle successfully got a temporary restraining order against DDG for alleged verbal and physical abuse. And if you remember, Halle and DDG have been in the news a lot over the past year for those very same accusations.

The one I remember most was that her and their child Halo had RSV and DDG wanted to see Halo but was mad that he couldn’t and it was a whole thing. Or the marks on her arm from an alleged altercation between her and DDG. The tabloids picked up the story and it honestly made him look really controlling and angry.

The RSV story isn’t particularly relevant here, but it’s still worth mentioning

Why? Because for the last year or so DDG has been getting dragged on the internet for essentially being considered an abusive, dead beat baby father. To be honest, I don’t know what to believe. But the internet decided, and people are rolling with Halle. Because why lie about that? I don’t know. Do you?

Either way we got a plot twist. Aside from all the people making videos in support of DDG, there’s been an update to the allegations. Turns out Halle wasn’t the only one tryna get a restraining order. DDG tried to get one too. Why? Well. He’s claiming Halle is the crazy one. OHHHH. Didn’t see that one. But forreal. DDG said he feels unsafe. That Halle be doing the most.

Throwing AirTags in his whip, fighting his boo outside of iPic theatre when they was just tryna catch a vibe and watch the new Lion King (I don’t actually know what the movie was). Basically, DDG feels like Halle’s been partaking in bird-like behavior (tweet, tweet) and he done had enough. Again, I don’t know what to believe. But what I do know is that the tea is spilling everywhere.

Now if this is a trigger warning, I am sorry. I was trying to get down to the bottom of this story. And if I’m being real, this story is really murky. Texts aside, it’s a classic he say, she say. And on top of that, their adorable baby boy Halo is involved. So I really don’t wanna dive in too deep beyond just texts and rumors. But speaking of rumors.

Halle says DDG cheated on her with Lala Baptiste 

Who is Lala? I don’t know. I’ll be honest. They sayin she’s an influencer, I think she’s on Twitch. I saw her in a video with Duke Dennis about a week ago. But aside from this old ass interview I found of her five years ago I really didn’t know what to say. But Halle seems to know exactly who shorty is. She says Lala is his new boo. DDG says hell nah, strictly platonic. But these texts say something different.

My thoughts on all this

Anyways, DDG was saying Halle cheated too though. Something about him seeing the covers rumpled up on the bed when he got home. And him claiming she must a been doing something in there. I don’t know. But what I do know is while DDG and Halle deny everything and blame each other for shit, the only clear victim is baby Halo. Someone gotta go check on that kid. Either way. Court’s back in session June 24.
